Valuation Surveys

 

This survey and report is in accordance with the principles of the “Regulation on the Determination of the Mortgage Lending Values of Ships and Ships under Construction” ("Schiffsbeleihungswertermittlungsverordnung").

 

For valuation of a vessel the market for second hand tonnage and the general market situation as well as a comparison with known sales of similar tonnage will be taken into account.

 

Furthermore, the age and the remaining economical lifetime, the major technical features, the technical condition, the possibilities of employment, the technical specification as well as the building standard and the period and status of the ship’s papers and class documents have to be taken into account.
