The Condition Survey reflects the condition and degree of maintenance of the vessel and its machinery, equipment and operational systems.
We inspect and provide detailed reports of the condition and maintenance standard of the accessible components and a review of the classification-, maintenance- and repair documents as well as other available information.
In case of any damages and/or deficiencies or a backlog of repairs/maintenance found during the inspection, we prepare on a separate Excel sheet a Deficiency List together with the Estimation of Costs to restore the vessel and its machinery in a condition for safe operation.
Our surveys include a detailed report with an extensive and descriptive photo documentation.
A Pre-purchase survey is very similar as a “Condition Survey” but it provides more details about the inventory of the vessel.
We supply prospective buyers with valuable information regarding future probable problems associated with the purchase of a particular vessel.
The same as for the Condition Survey and Valuation Survey all damages and/or deficiencies or a backlog of repairs/maintenance found during the inspection will be listed on a separate Excel sheet and indicating the estimation of costs to restore the vessel and its machinery in a condition for safe operation.

This survey and report is in accordance with the principles of the “Regulation on the Determination of the Mortgage Lending Values of Ships and Ships under Construction”
("Schiffsbeleihungswertermittlungsverordnung").
For valuation of a vessel the market for second hand tonnage and the general market situation as well as a comparison with known sales of similar tonnage will be taken into account.

The controlling and monitoring of the contracted ship’s company consists of the regular analysis of the operational management. Priority areas are e.g. the assessment of the companies forecasting reliability (budget, target/actual comparison and liquidity), the technical condition of the ship and the organisation and efficiency of the shipping company.
